Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 12th November 2025.

We at Pebble & Tide Counselling are working to make our website accessible to people with disabilities. Pebble & Tide provides online counselling and tutoring services across Australia and does not operate from a physical office.

At Pebble & Tide Counselling, accessibility and inclusion are central to the way we work. We are committed to ensuring that everyone can access our website, online counselling, and tutoring services with ease, comfort, and dignity. Our goal is to create a space that supports diverse communication, learning, and sensory needs. We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process and welcome feedback to help us improve.

Our Commitment

We strive to make our services and website accessible to everyone, including individuals who use assistive technologies or require adjustments to how sessions are delivered.

Pebble & Tide Counselling aims to:

  • Follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) to ensure content is clear and perceivable.

  • Use high-contrast colours and readable fonts to improve visibility and legibility.

  • Provide alt text for images to support screen reader users.

  • Maintain consistent navigation and page structure across the site.

  • Offer flexible communication options in sessions, including video, chat, or written support, where appropriate.

Accessibility in Counselling and Tutoring

Our online services are designed with inclusivity in mind. This includes:

  • Adapting the pace and structure of sessions to meet individual needs.

  • Supporting clients and students with sensory sensitivities, attention differences, or processing challenges.

  • Providing written follow-up summaries or visual resources when helpful.

If you have specific needs or requests related to accessibility, please let us know prior to your session so we can make appropriate adjustments.

Limitations and Third-Party Tools

While we work to ensure full accessibility, some third-party applications (such as Carepatron, Halaxy, or embedded booking tools) may not yet fully comply with WCAG 2.1 standards. We are actively reviewing and improving accessibility features as updates become available.

Feedback and Contact

We are continually learning and evolving. If you experience any barriers while using our website or services, or have suggestions to improve accessibility, please contact us:
